Dealer FAQ
Brite Pay, answered
This page answers common questions dealers may have about Brite Pay, Hunter Douglas North America's white-labeled payment solution powered by Stripe.
How Brite Pay Works
Brite Pay is integrated directly into the Brite platform, so dealers don't need to learn a separate system. Here's how the end-to-end flow works:
- 1
Account Setup
Dealers start by setting up their Stripe-connected account through Brite Pay. The onboarding process is entirely web-based; once your account is activated, you can manage your account details at any time by clicking “Account Management” in the top-right corner of the Brite Pay page.
- 2
Creating a Payment Link
You can create a payment link in two ways from within Brite: directly from the Brite Pay page, or from the Projects board by moving a project to the Proposal stage and Payment sub-stage, then clicking the “Collect” call to action.
- 3
Customer Payment Experience
When a customer receives a payment link and completes the checkout, Stripe securely collects and encrypts their payment information, processes the transaction (applying security checks and calculating fees), and adds the payment amount, minus transaction costs, to your Stripe balance. Based on your payout schedule, Stripe then transfers the funds to your connected bank account. Customers receive a payment confirmation email upon successful payment.
- 4
Brite Pay Dashboard
Within Brite Pay, you can monitor everything through five tabs:
- Payment Links: displays all payment links that have been created
- Payments: shows all payments received
- Payouts: lists all payouts to your bank account
- Disputes: shows any active or resolved payment disputes
- Balance: displays your current available Stripe balance
